Who It's For

You want a low-maintenance refresh that looks refined from every angle. It is ideal for softening regrowth on highlighted or balayaged hair, refining tone after fade, or blending early greys around the parting.

It suits brunettes, blondes and brondes, and works on fine through to thick hair. If you need significant lightening or a major tone shift, highlights, balayage or corrective work may be recommended instead.

Duration & Appointment Timing

Allow 45 to 60 minutes for the appointment. Hair density, starting shade and the need for a toner refresh can affect timing.

New colour clients may need a quick skin test at least 48 hours before. If you plan to add highlights or a root tint alongside the melt, mention this when booking so the right time is allocated.

Aftercare & Maintenance

Use colour-safe shampoo and conditioner, plus heat protectant when styling. Wash with lukewarm water and limit heat to help your shade last.

Book a gloss or toner top-up at 4 to 6 weeks to keep clarity and shine. Most clients return for another melt or their next colour service at 6 to 10 weeks, depending on growth, wash routine and lifestyle. Protect hair from sun and chlorine to reduce fade.
